ABOUT AMY

Hi there! I’m a retired Navy spouse and mother to 4 beautiful (grown) daughters and one furry rescue dog. After growing up in the heartland of America – the Land of Lincoln – my family moved to Charleston, SC, where I completed school, learned to catch crabs and throw a shrimp net and met my husband. The Navy brought our family to Newport and for that, I am so grateful! Before long, I fell in love with the beaches and sea that surround our picturesque island, became a part of the community and learned to understand the not-so-necessary need to ever leave Aquidneck Island.

As an artist, I look at everything around me through a special lens that recognizes beauty and allure in the most simplistic of nature’s details. When I want to relax, I set up the paints and canvas and go to “work!” Gardening is also a therapeutic pastime for me, as well as cooking or reading a good book.

I enjoy meeting new people and helping newcomers find a new place to call home which has fostered my interest in real estate.
